Help us study and protect urban pollinators—one bee hotel at a time! When joining UrbanBEE, you will receive and set up a solitary bee hotel and track how these fascinating creatures make their nests. Your observations will help scientists understand urban biodiversity, pollinator health, and how cities can better support nature.

YOUR ROLE
Step 1: Set Up Your Bee Hotel
Place your bee hotel in a safe, suitable location in your garden, balcony, or another urban space.

Step 2: Observe and Document
Once a week, upload two clear pictures of your bee hotel to help us track pollinator activity. Watch as your bee hotel fills up with amazing solitary bees using different nesting materials!

Step 3: Submit Your Data
We will send you a Google Form once a week. You can answer a few simple questions and upload your weekly photos.
YOUR GAIN: WHY JOIN?
A Front-Row Seat to Nature – Watch pollinators up close as they build nests, gather food, and raise their young.
Help Your Local Ecosystem – Solitary bees play a vital role in pollination, supporting urban plants and green spaces.
Learn & Connect – Discover the world of urban pollinators, and become part of a community of nature lovers & scientists.
Contribute to Research – Your data helps scientists understand how pollinators thrive in cities and informs conservation efforts.

HOW IT WORKS:
STEP-BY-STEP
-
Apply to Join a Project & Get a Bee Hotel
 -
Take & Upload Weekly Photos (good quality, directly in front of the hotel)

Fill in the Simple Google Form (name, date, & observations)
 -
Watch for Nesting Activity – Look for bees, nest materials, and sealed holes
 -
Share Your Experience – Send us photos, videos, or voice notes of your bee hotel journey!
WHAT TO LOOK FOR?
