Collaboration
Urban biodiversity is shaped by a complex mix of ecological, socioeconomic, and cultural factors—and no two cities are the same. That’s why UrbanBEE is a global movement, bridging the North-South divide to understand how biodiversity thrives in diverse urban landscapes. By launching citizen science projects in cities across Africa and Europe, we’re uncovering how different environments support pollinators, green spaces, and human-nature connections. This research project is a first-of-its-kind, laying the groundwork for scalable, nature-based solutions that can work anywhere.
